Hey guys. New to the forum but I understand how they work. I've searched for anything relating to my problem so i'm posting this up. If theres a thread relating please post it and lock it up but here it is. I just bought a 96 prelude SR. When i bought it the front speakers didnt work. I opened them up and the wirings all good. I tried replacing the speakers and still no sound. Opened up the centre console and the wirings pretty sketchy. I looked up under the dash but can't trace the wires. What the p.o. dis was take house speaker wire and connect it to the speaker wires from the head unit to the tweeter. I believe the tweeters are wired in line with the door speakers but im not 100% sure. If anyone has any ideas why my front speakers arent getting power let me know and if its because of the chopped wiring behind everything then please let me know of a solution. Thanks guys.

Aftermarket, sorry I didn;t mention it, it's an early 2000s kenwood. Some automatic flip one.
