I found this where my spare tire is. what is it and where does it go?

thanks guys, but im planning on taking out the spare anyways and putting in an extra blade or maintaining my tires and no spare at all.

really good decision, on the no spare at all. you never know when you might hit something on the road and puncture a tire.

pwnd. Chances of getting a second flat in the suggested maximum 50 mile range of your donut, are slim to none (as long as you keep your donut properly inflated). And as for calling road side assistance for a flat tire... Goodluck with life. Call for help, wait an hour for assistance when you could have been driving 5 minutes later.

I agree with proper tire maintenance you'll probably replace your tires before ever getting a spare, but I'd still never travel without one. Especially more than ten or fifteen miles from someone who could come pick me up, I refuse to pay for roadside assistance when I can fix the majority of problems by myself.

it weighs 10lbs.........rather keep it in there and not get stuck on the side of the road because i was trying to be jDm
