Default weird clutch problem "searched" friction point

hey all
i was wondering...i just changed the slave cylinder on my 97 prelude... and a few weeks later...ive been experiencing some weird friction point issues with it...
when i shift first...sometimes the friction point is low...sometimes normal...when i shift second, 3rd 4th and 5th...evertyhing seems fine...then when i down shift sometimes it feels that its at abnormal hight...then sometimes normal...

2 weeks ago... when i changed the cylinder (then one on the tranny) someone told me there is no way to bleed it manually...i didnt really believe that and went a head and bled it manually...it worked fine for a bit...then started acting up...like i stated....i really dont know what the problem is...is it bad bleeding? should i bleed it with a pump? or is it my clutch that is going on me?

my clutch to me seems fine...i tried shifting 3rd at really low rpm's to see if it would slipp....but it didnt slip at all...so im confused right now....anyone have any ideas?
thanks alot!

just for review...this is how i bleed my clutch.... i did it the same as brakes...pump at least 10 times..open the valve...then close it...obviously someone in the car pumping the clutch pedal..pedal goes to the floor...but the clutch fluid cap is open...after doing more search i saw that it might have to be closed?!?! not sure about this can anyone confirm...does it have to be open or closes...or we dont really care as long as there is fluid??? thanks

Okay just for the record, I bleed the clutch with the cap on. This is how I do it and works good for me.

Get a little Piece of Rubber hose and attach it to the clutch slave cylinder. Connect that hose into a bottle of brake fluid.(Make sure that the hose end is submerged in Brake Fluid other wise your going to be sucking in air.

Next Pump the clutch 3 times, hold down on the Third, and open clutch slave cylinder and it will blow the old brake fluid into the bottle of new brake fliud along with any air in there. Close the valve on the clutch slave sylinder before pulling clutch up.

Now you slowly pull the clutch up with your hand.

Open up Clutch Fluid Resivor Tank and top off the fluid(Important you do it this way other wise youll be sucing in air)

Repeat the follow steps until you stop blowing air bubbles into the bottle of brake fluid.

thanks for the info...but i was speaking to some guy at the local scrap yard, and he was telling me that on 97-01 preludes there is a valve that slow's the hydrolic fluid so the clutch release is smoother...they dont have that on civic or teg...but since prelude is half sport half sendan...i guess they put it there for confort...anyway...he was telling me that if that starts to go...the release might be different at times....and it is...so im gona go a head and change it...but im still skeptical that my friction point problem would be du to this....anyone?

and does anyone know where this valve is located...ive never heard of it...i know i can just follow the hydro line...but it would be fun to see what it looks like before
thanks

I'm sure what the guy is referring to is the damper. You can replace it or just remove it completely which a lot of people have done. If you do remove it, you will have to custom rig a clutch line running from the master to the slave cylinder. There is at least one write-up about this, just search under clutch damper and you'll find it.
