Thanks i hope it stays that way. Whats wrong with my old setup. It made good power it was just my fault of what happened....So I learned my lesson and will hopefully keep this motor for the entire year

crazes: Re: my suspension. I need a whole new setup, new springs and shocks.
I have a lot of time to research what i'll go for while i save some cash. My
front shocks are dying bad. In the end i am hoping for an impovement in
handling and a 1.5 inch drop front and rear. Re: Your build, good to see the
motor back in. Looking forward to seeing how she performs for you, when all
up and running.

well got the motor installed just had a few connectors that i wasn't sure about and didn't want to take a chance and install them and something go boom... i pretty sure everything else is good to go. put oil in the car and is ready to fire. I got to be at the dyno at at 830 so we can double check about those few connectors. the only thing i am worried about is that truck i am towing the car with i think is starting to go bad hurry for me finishing a motor on friday the 13th and having a truck that is like hmmmmm.....hope it makes it.

Today is the day hope everything works out well for me...

Well its been a while since i posted and was suppose to dyno. well had issues once again when i went to tune.

Well go to Import Dps to tune the car early and ready to go. Randy put the ecu for tuning in and car started right up but for some reason the starter didn't want to diengage so we shut it down order a new starter and have it within 30 mins put it on and boom were good.

All of sudden we start hearing a squealing sound coming from the transmission area. I was like the hell is going on with this. Turn it off look around can't tell nothing so we start it up again everything is good to go. Shut down when its about to be my turn to tune the squealing starts again. i was like something is wrong for sure now. So i shut it down completely and tell randy cant tune cause of the issue have to take trans out to see whats going on when i get back upstate. Well Rick from import tells me why dont you just take apart here. I was like i need some impact tools and some sockets that i dont have. He looked at me like a duh use my shop dumbass. I was completely surprised and got on it right away.

Well after taking everything apart after a few hrs since its a prelude damn freaking things. Well we find out that the pilot bearing is messed up. Some how it got bent when we put the tranny on stupid me. Well put the retention plate back trans back on everything ready to go. Well start it up and all of sudden errrr.. Car doesnt want to crank. what the hell is going on well put the car back on the trailer and take it home.

When i get home i find out like the a smart person that i am i didn't completely have the pressure plate seated and one of the bolts was graving on the trans case which wasn't letting it turn. Well go it back together and it fired up right away. I think i may have a slight air leak and the timing belt maybe a little to tight but i will double check that out.

here is a pic of the pressure plate and the trans

well there things that i should haven't over looked when i was assy. the motor was built for power so it needs to breath and all i had was a 68mm tb so i need to upgrade the tb to a 76mm which i already ordered and hopefully will be here sometime this week hopefully before i hit the track, but i will be doing something a lil different also cause i know the euro cant really support a port match to 76m without plates.

no the part i know that actually cost me real power is if you listen closely to the sounds of the car you will hear a small pinging well thats my left fron caliper slowly unlocking up on the dyno. the caliper went bad so we are thinking that alone probably cost me 10-20 hp and maybe 5 tq on it. but were not going to worry about the dyno right now i am going to the track this weekend coming for the fall nationals and put some numbers down with my h buddies.

I am hoping for 13.2-13.5 right on the track we will see what happens maybe a 12 somewhere in there. You can feel the motor wants more but it cant cause its not getting the air it needs to do it. We played around with timing and settings but it still needs air. I am still happy cause the motor is strong and i know it will get better. Prelude record here I come

why such a large throttle body?

i went from a stock s2k throttle (62mm) to a 68mm throttle (74mm inlet) on my euroR and netted 0 change on the dyno. The euroR TB opening was bored to 70mm.
