Default PCV Valve: Do I need an OEM one?

It's a fairly simple part, can I just grab one at autozone?

expletive the dealership, go to any parts store for something as simple as a pvc vavle. If we are talking about tbelts, seals, ect then go all out on oem.

we also dont need people flipping out cuz someone said buy honda when it comes to important things like belts and seals but dont waste their money at the dealership on things like pcv valves.....honestly find someone else who agrees with you on spending the extra cash at the dealerhsip for a pcv....quit pms'ing and go change your tampon mr. 1337 cuz of his sig...

especially when many dealership parts departments will match the near cost price that http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com offers which negates the shipping and handling charges and the wait

I would just go OEM.....I did. It's not much more and if your cars important to you just buy the right parts.

but i would never buy anything other than an oem pcv valve, esp when they dont cost ****.....

i second that.

most of the time you can just clean it up with a carb cleaner but if you need to replace it, go with oem

i've tried one of them Deutsch PCV valves from AutoZone and it screwed my idle up. i gave Honda a try and voila! worked fine. that's just my experience.
