my JDM headlights look like @ss.
(4th gen) So. Where are people picking up these JDM 1pieces that look so damn clean?
I read the tutorial about 2000grit sandpaper and the cleaner stuff. I have used the technique....over...and over....and...hours later there is a very unnoticable difference.
I just want a pair of clean JDM's that look so shiny like all your pictures thanks ahead of time...(mine are probably cloudy since a bulb exploded inside....)

Take a picture of your buddies JDM one-piece headlight. Enlarge the picture to actual size, Print picture, and Stick-On glue it to your original headlight. That's what we do.

damn...no way.
My printer isnt a lazer jet or anything though, so they are going to look like I actually printed it.
Can someone send me some highquality pics in the mail?

sounds like you need to take them apart. I have yet to do this to mine though, but you can certainly try it out if you want. I had a bulb explode inside my drivers side light. If you want to preheat your oven to about 250, put the light inside for no more than 5 min. get a sharp blade knife or something to get in between the lense and housing, be careful as you handle the light when it comes out, you could warp the lense. After getting the housing apart, clean the inside with meguiars polish, then put the back in for 3-5 more minutes to re soften the glue, then put them back together. If they leak, use clear windshield sealant. Also, if the lights look very bad after the wet sanding and polishing, you can get them clearcoated on the outside too.

wow dude, at first I was going to give you the benefit of the doubt, but after reading that I highly doubt you know what you're doing cleaning these headlights.....

Wow Andy that looks really good and cost REALLY cheap. That's really something to consider. Nice job. I've read the write ups but I never thought of applying it after buying asstasic looking lights for cheap only to end up with some pimpin' clean headlights. Hmmmmm......
