Default how to fix fuel system monitor malfunction?

my 98 base model is giving me all sorts of hell, its been running in closed loop mode since i bought it and who knows how long before that so the entire emissions system needs work, im getting there but when i scan for codes i get a fuel system monitor that pops up,its not a code like pxxxx it just says there is a problem with the fuel monitor, anyone know what to look at to fix this? also could this be causing the misfire monitor to trip? since im not getting a specific misfire code just another monitor.

just a little more info,
both o2 sensors are shot from running rich, i get codes for both
the catalyst is also bad from running rich i assume, i get a catalyst monitor
evap and egr monitors are tripped
fuel and misfire monitors are tripped
the car sometimes runs good but most of the time its boggy and redlines at 6500
car has h22a swapped in, good compression acroos the board
thanks for your time.

First thing, get new O2 sensors.
Second, replace the cat.
Third, clean your egr, throttle body etc.
Fourth, reset ecu.

If you still have issues, try running a can of BG 44K through with a tank of fuel.

Should fix it, if not, you should at least narrow it down to a single issue from the laundry list you have now.

Thanks for the reply I already ordered two new o2 sensors, I am just waiting to get paid and I will order a new OE converter for now, egr is cleaned, and I took the throttle body off to fix my iacv so now it idles right, also if the fuel tank is holding pressure and the evap system has no leaks do I replace the charcoal canister to get the evap monitor to go away? Or should I wait and see what the sensors and cat do?
Thanks for the help this is my first obd2 honda , its a little different than my obd1 civic.
