h23a1 transmission/h22a motor
^ should i have any problems with this combination?
if so, what kinda of problems..
would this motor be to much for the h23a1 transmission?

naah, you shouldnt have any problems at all. it certainly isnt "too much" for the tranny, the only difference is the gear ratios. they are a little longer. i ran the same combination for over a year and didnt mind it at all.

Re: (P13_mein)
My friend had that setup before he swapped to a H22 transmission. He swears he could have done 160... He said he was topping out the speedometer at about 5800.

Same combo here, does fine, I like having a bit lower rpm on the highway so its fine with me, and still fast as crap! I do have a decent clutch in mine, and recommend while in there check flywheel/ clutch etc, and relube well!
