Fans Stay Running?
After driving for awhile and the engine is hot, whenever I park the car the radiator fans stay running. They stay running for a good bit too, like 3-5 minutes sometimes. Somebody told me that the water temp sensor could be bad. Anyone know what could cause the fans to stay running?

mine does too especially after the turbo and in this insanely hot weather. i think it stayed on for about 10 minutes after a 10 minute drive in 90 degrees

Yup. I noticed it more after the turbo and the hot weather also. The car isn't over heating or anything so maybe it just takes that long to cool the car down?

Mine never really did either. But now with the turbo, hot weather, and the ac running, I don't know if the car can keep up. haha

Like others said - that's what it is supposed to do. Make sure you're topped off on fluids, keep an eye on your temp gauge if you're still concerned. I wouldn't be, personally.

I got stock radiator and Flex-a-lite slim fans.

Oh ok. I will check and see if I need to add a little coolant but I wasn't too worried about it since it wasn't overheating.
I just wanted to see if others were experiencing this and what would cause them to stay running since they didn't do it before. Thanks
