Default BMC filter install on 06 CBR600RR

has anyone installed the BMC race filter on their own?? im looking into buying one but i dont wanna pay the labor and i always do my own work. someone lemme kno how to do it......................

Just lift the tank. Take off the 2 screws holding the mesh to the airbox and pop in the filter.
Its real easy once you lift the tank up.
It shoudl take no more than 30 minutes.

unless this has all changed from the 04 to the 06.

No. I am not sure about how the 06 tanks are on, but on my 04 you need to take the sides off. Then the tank cover. They 2 bolts for the tank and ligt the tank up. Just be careful of the fuel hoses.
I normally prop the tank up with a big screw driver.
Go for a long ride and run the tank down low so its not to heavy.

um no there is no need to remove the front fairing haha...its simple man...shouldn't take you anymore than 5-10min. with simple hand tools
