Power door locks
Hello, all!
I have a 2009 Fit Sport bought new in June of '09. Very happy with the car.
Had a problem with the power door locks early on. Dealer couldn't get it to act up in his shop back while under warranty. Now at 5.5 years and 60K miles it has come home to roost.
Trying to lock with the fob and every door except the driver's door locks. Can't get the confirmation beep because the driver's door is not locked. Was occasional for the past couple of years. Used to cycle the key in the lock and flip the manual door lock rocker inside the door a few times and it would settle down for weeks. It gets worse in cold weather and is now a constant problem. Have to lock with key. Unlocks with fob just fine.
Any suggestions? Can the mech be lubricated while in place?
