What'd you use to fix door panel due to seatbelt buckle damage?
I'm probably not the only one that has the problem of the seatbelts not winding back up very well or fast. And so when I first got my Crx, the buckle would hang loose enough to smash either into the door frame, denting the hell out of it, or into the door panel, tearing it to all hell.
I'm thinking that the huge *** dents in the frame are beyond repair (and probably not worth doing), but what about the door panel? The plastic covering is torn up pretty bad. Its pretty obvious the previous owner tried to patch it with something before but it looks pretty bad and didn't do any good.
What have you guys used to repair the panel so that it looks decent again?

Anybody ever tried something like this? I definently have the same rip in my drivers door panel.

Hmm. Interesting find. I might try that...
But yeah I figure there must be others out there who have tried DIY low-budget fixes before and come out with something decent. Replacing the whole panel is an option but I don't want to think about how much that'd cost.
It doesn't have to look perfect, but just not that noticeable would be great. Someone out there must have pictures and experiences.

Well you could always go to a Vinyl repair shop and see what they can do for you. I mean depending how bad it is vinyl is pretty easily fixable.
