Default Throwout bearing seized? Need Pro-tips!

Hello! I swapped a ZC into my si hatch a few weeks ago. I was missing an exhaust piece so I had to wait for that to come before trying to start it up and drive it. It starts, but the throwout bearing seems to be seized causing the clutch to be disengaged.... I took off the clutch cable and I can move the arm up and down an inch or so, it moves very easily.

Im assuming im going to have to pull the motor/tranny again to remedy this. Any pro-tips on taking the tranny out without pulling the whole motor? Or is it not worth the trouble.

Thanks,
Aaron

Never mind: I am retarded. The axles are not in the tranny all the way, they stick out about 1" on either side.... hopefully all is well once I get them seated in there properly.

How much force is required to move the clutch engagement arm to push the throw out bearing in? Trying to do it by hand...

I got the clutch arm to operate by hand and push down the pressure plate, takes like 50+ pounds of force, but I dont think its seized.

So my axles look like this...: this isnt normal right? Sticks out like 3/4"

I loosened the axle nut and I can push the axle in all the way, but then the threads for the nut are not showing.... if i tighten the nut, the axle just pops out again wtf... These are new axles I got from napa... according to their website they are the right ones for the 1.6.

WELL I loosened the axle nut, then then pushed the cv joint in more and tightened it. Seems to be sitting in there further now. I started the car on jackstands and the wheels turn in gear, so thats good.... ill continue testing tommorow as my neighboors will get pissed.

Is it normal that I can put the car in gear and roll the car easily?
