Supercharging a D16Z2 EF?
I would like for you to spend some time with me talking about supercharging a D16Z2 EF Civic.
Can you give me a link for a D16 JRSC kits, or has anyone one to sell? Are all the D16 JRSC the same or not? (for A6(0Z2), Y8, Z6...) Has anyone of you a supercharged 4.gen Civic.....
I already have a Walbro HP 255 l/h pump, a LSD Motorsports stg3 (6 puck w/springs) clutch, a boost , oil temp and oil pressure gauge, and a set of 450 DSM's, also have a ARP head studs and a Felpro head gasket.
Any suggestions for installation, it it hard to do, etc....all info wellcome.

i have one suggestion. dont waste your time with the felpro headgasket, it will only blow out and really mess up your engine. also, go to honda and ask for a y8 head gasket. its around 40 bucks for a oem mls gasket and its a much better choice over the felpro. and since you have all of these items already, just find yourself a nice t3/t4 turbo and boost it that way. much better results as you crank the boost. what are you using for pistons and rods?

I have stock D16 pistons and rods, don't wanna go turbo...
My mistake, I don't have a Felpro but I have a 3 MLS gasket I wanna know two things for start :
1. Are all the JRSCs for D16 the same?
2. Does anyone have a used one, and what is the price range?
3. MY Civic doesn't have a PS or a AC, so I have 2 stock pulleys on the crank, one is for my camshaft belt and the other one is free, with nothing on it. Where do I mount a SC belt?

2. regardless if you find one used or not, you will probably spend as much money tracking down all the necessary parts required to run it. in turn spending even more than planned.
3. the kit would come with the required crankshaft pulley needed to run the alt and supercharger.
i personal would say skip the supercharger and go with a turbo. turbocharging is more effective in my opinion compared to supercharging on a honda engine. also, you should get internals that can handle the boost you would be shoving in it before you blow a ringland and scrap the whole motor. a cheap setup would be tuner toys rods and vitaras. that is a proven combo to handle 20+ psi.

i superchaged a stock d15b, with stock pistion and rods, i drove it daily for 6 mounths it did ok, it was only tuned with a fmu, so it could have done better, the supercharger it self you can be used on different sohc, the guy i got mine from had it on a d16z6, i had a home made turbo i traded and it did better, there is a guy on craigslist tri cities washington that has one for sell, looks complet, maybe hit him up and see if he would ship it to you,
