Console looks real good man, the color seems to match great.
I wish they lined up that well in wagons.

Re: Prelude182's Project 91 STD Hatch (Low budget build)
Whats up mother EF'ers! The past week Ive been busting my *** trying to get a decent paintjob out of a spray can and all i have to say is Im pretty satisfied with how it came out. As of yesterday the car as been fully painted with the exception of the hatch spoiler. Some spots turned out with orange peel but i plan on spending some time once the car is done to wet sand it and eventually clear it.
I was happy with the doors because they turned out better than anything else on the car.
Once its out of the garage itll look flawless
Both doors waiting to be put back on
Passenger side all sanded down
Primered...
....and painted.
I wasnt happy with the fenders so I re-did them.
A few layers of primer to be safe.
Yeah boi!
The hardest part obviously was the roof, in the middle of spraying it buckled
But turned out to be ok afterwards
The driver side was a different story. With the lack of lighting it made it hard to paint and i had to redo the whole 1/4 panel 3 times. Alot of that has to do with my poor sanding job also. but in the end it turned out good.
So now that all this paint crap is done i can get back to doing the technical stuff like my brakes and the motor.

well now im having issues with the car starting. It acts like it has a low/dead battery but all the dash lights are fully illuminated. seems like the starter isnt getting any kick but i put the battery in my other car and works just fine. I know this starter is good but im gonna check all my grounds and connections to make sure.

yeah i hope i can get it started too. its been a garage queen for way too long! The paint turned out alot better than i thought it would, theres a couple of runs in the paint but only if you get the right amount of light at a certain angle. other than that i think its gonna look good after i wet sand it and clear it.

Re: Prelude182's Project 91 STD Hatch (Low budget build)
sorry ive been on a long hiatus guys. the paint turned out pretty good but i still need to cut and buff it. then itll be minty. As of right now now ive put in 3 dizzys and have came out with no spark. the car is now throwing either code 4 or code 4 and code 10. which totally blows. ive working my *** off to get the timing and wiring right but im running out of ideas.
sorry for the wait guys ill post more pictures of the updates asap

Sorry to hear about your electrical whoas... You are right, it has been forever since you have been around. I was wondering when you were going to show up again! lol...
Maybe this is obvious, but maybe the issues is not the dizzy... Did you do much to your stock wiring from when it ran last?

Re: Prelude182's Project 91 STD Hatch (Low budget build)
well of course. it ran kinda fine when i had the dual point set up on it. all i did was follow a write up, added my multi point setup step by step which shouldnt be that hard cause a monkey can add 6 wires to an ecu. i get fuel to my injectors but cant seem to get any spark anywhere. ive even tried 3 pm6 ecus, 1 of them i knew was good, same with dizzys. idk im stumped and my only solution from here on out is getting a full si engine and interior ecu harness. i already have the engine harness, now i just need the interior part. pictures are slowly coming but between work and other obligations this is getting tough to get done and on the road.

Since then i havent owned a single honda and its driving me nuts. im getting too ansy to get this thing done and the way it turns out i might be moving to vancouver, wa soon so i gotta get this bitch done and on the road before then.

Re: Prelude182's Project 91 STD Hatch (Low budget build)
Damn you're only a ferry ride away. Yeah I've tried switching the 2 white wires, I've went over the ecu wiring more than enough times, got a new main relay, 3 dizzys (1 known good one), multiple ecus, and keep getting no spark and code 4 and 10. Used the same guage wire, soldered and heat shrinked every connection I've made. Im just losing my hair over it and finding an si interior ecu harness seems to be more of a bitch than I thought it would be lol
