My Vtec is weird!
Its like this. My b16 is strange. I hear it kick in it wants to go but, it feels like there is pressure holding it back, or like as if something was clogging up. It hits and it holds like its going but your not. Im not sure what it could be, you can hear it engage, you can feel it for a second. But then when you try to get on the gas it guts out on you and feels like it can't get enough fuel, or oil in the selinoid. Driving me crazy any thoughts would help me greatly!

Ya those solenoids tend to get dirty, you need to clean it

CHECK OIL LEVEL!! Also check to make sure that your oil pan isn't smashed in at all. It could plug up your oil pickup. If your oil level is low, VTEC will not engage or feel like it's starving for something.

I dont know why everyone loves those iridium, platinum spark plugs, i find
the Honda engines perform better with stock NGK, my opinion, always use to have intermittent driveability problems on my old civic with the b16 swap i had in her,
till tech at work told me to start with the plugs, he hates those spark plugs unlessd
vehicle comes from factory platinum, iridium plugs,
