My Hatch Build
In july of last year i bought a 91 std hatch. it already had the a6 swapped into it but has the crappy 4 speed still. the bodies pretty clean but im pretty sure they used bondo on it but theres jus a little bit of bubbling. i didnt take any pictures when i bought it but all ive done visually is put on a passenger side mirror, seat covers, and i zip tied the corners and bumper down
shortly after buying i bought a z6 swap to but in it for about 180 bucks. the block was **** but everything else was salvageable so i put the trans and the head off to the side. imn planning on doing a mini and a 5 speed swap. in the mean time i have been collecting parts to do a mpfi swap which will be happening as soon as its warm enough out. i decided that i want to eventually turbo the car so ive also been purchasing new internals for the head. so far ive got skunk2 valves and blox retainers and valve springs. once i get the money ill be takin my head to be refinished get a valve job and all the new items installed.
This week it was really nice out like 45 degrees so i decided to put the coilover sleeves i bought a while ago on. i wanted to get atleast the rear done. i got the passenger side done easy. while i was down there i noticed the bushings in my lcas were going to crap so i decided to buy new lcas. on the driver side i snapped the bolt where the lca goes into the chassis and thats where im stuck.
heres some pics if anyone can help me or give a little advice thatd be awesome
anyway heres the coilovers one installed and one stock im using the stock struts till i can afford lowering ones

Question:
On that bumper you bought for your car, is it possible to remove the top molding? Is it glued or clipped on, and if so can you explain?
Would be much appreciated! Nice car btw!

Re: My Hatch Build
it is possible to break the welds that hold that nut on the frame with a breaker bar. That's not the ideal thing to do but you can get the broken bolt out then.
