Just got a replacement instrument cluster from Kizner and I would like to set the odometer to the correct mileage. I saw a thread that told how to do this , but I can't find it now. I know, just swich out the speedometers, but dumb me , I don't have the speedo, just know what the mileage is. Is there any way to change the odometer reading? My son's car has 156,000 miles and the new working cluster has 250,000+ miles. Any help is greatly appreciated.

i couldint find a thread with working pictures either

i say if the mileage is exempt on the title than it shouldn't matter and i hear of people who change the clusters that have different mileage all the time and than turn around and say how illegal it is to role it back

p.s. ive never heard of anybody getting a fine or getting arrested for this has anybody else... seriously what is the penalty if you somehow get caught that i could never see happening
