Default Fresh ZC swap, blowing fuse

Ok I just completed my ZC swap lastnight, went to start the car and sparks flew from the ground for the motor. No biggie we just moved it from its normal location, since then everytime I turn on the headlights the fuse for the dash and tail lights blows fuse #8. WTF is there a wire crossed somewhere? Car has been converted to OBD 1 but didn't have this problem till the swap.

sounds like you could have the ground and hot mixed up or just the hot making contact with metal causing it to blow the fuse , bad bulbs can also blow fuses well at least on AC electrical.

I would go through the harness check to make sure all the wires are protected, take the bulbs out see if it still blows , otherwise bust out the Helms or chiltons wiring diagram and go over everything good luck

Still no luck, we completely removed everything on the a/c side of the wiring and we got the dash lights to come on for a split second before the fuse blew. Anyone else got any suggestions.
