10A Fuse keeps blowing
EJ civic interior dash lights/taillights/parking lights 10A fuse keeps blowing.
I went through 5 10A fuses and cannot figure out what could be causing the fuse to blow. I have nothing on when installing the new fuse.
The fuse blows everytime I turn on the parking lights.

you have a short with your lighting some where (positive touching the chassis or a negative wire)...
look thru all wiring if you have modified any at all, and restore it back to stock wiring.
if you have not modified the lighting at all, you will need to trace the short in the engine bay around the lighting, as well as the taillights, and if you are unable to find any suspiscious working (IE wire that is exposed, or just bad connection, etc.) then then you will need to trace it to the dash.
NEVER use a larger fuse than what the current amperage is for the specific fuse area. If you go higher than a 10A in this matter, you will have more issues with wires, and they will melt, then you will be in a whole mess of crap.
good luck.

Thats Weird. That just started happening to me too last week. theres probably something up with the wiring, Headlights, guages, taillamps. Luckily, mine stopped blowing after the last fuse i had left. I think its a 30. Not that it matters. but check the wiring before you start getting pulled over by cops during the night. good luck

Do you have an alarm or anything wired up underneith your dash...I had the same problems with my car so I went through and fixed any bad connections with that alarm/ lights and anything else. I did use a bigger fuse though, luckly nothing melted that I know of.

I will go through all of my aftermarket wiring installations and see if anything is out of the norm.
I am afraid to go with a bigger fuse because this seems as though this would only be putting a patch fix on things and ultimately making it worse.
There has to be a logical explanation as to why its blowing fuses and I will figure it out.

I have the angel eyes projector head lights, and I went through the wiring and noticed that the wires that tap into the parking lights had burned through the electrical tape and were touching and arching.
I separated them, retaped them and put a new 10a fuse in and it works fine now.
Thanks everybody, it was the positive wire touching the negative wire.
