Perform a leakdown test. Troubleshoot, don't guess.

If you're unable to perform the test yourself, have a shop do it.

Another easy way to tell if your headgasket is leaking is to check if oil and coolant are mixing. Looks like a milkshake under the oil cap and in the radiator.

I agree with Manny. I have the same problem but I've narrowed it down to valve stem seals by testing. Not saying that's your problem too I'm just saying do the tests. You should also check the plugs for oil etc.

Are you burning oil? Your oil is amber/black and your coolant is (hopefully) green???

Get a leak down test performed.

Blown headgaskets can also leak from the coolant passage directly into the cylinder and never get into your oil.

Are you losing water in your radiator? Combined with your white smoke, that's a tell tale sign of a blown head gasket.

Compression check can usually pick up the problem... leak test would be better, but since you have white smoke you can get a test kit from your local parts store that detects exhaust gasses in your radiator fluid.
Larger leaks are easier to find as bubbles can be seen the radiator water when you take the cap off.

Yeah it does seem that when I fill up the coolant reservoir it uses a lot of that. What is that test kit called, I'll probably go puck one of those up soon

You can rent the tool at most parts stores and buy the liquid - looks like this;

Works like this;

Ahh then theres your problem. My car had that problem till about a week ago I think.

Remove your valve cover and replace those seals that block oil from getting into the spark plug chambers. Theres 4 of em and I believe theyre like $1.50 each at Honda.
When you install them, oil them up first or theyll go in crooked.

It's called a block tester,dark blue/purple fluid will turn a yellow/green if there are combustion gasses in the cooling system.
Cheap tool and very useful.

So that's my problem, oil in the spark plug chamber. But if I remember correctly before I bought this car my friend drove it daily for like a year and it wasn't smoking nearly as bad. And the SP chambers were still filled with oil. It just smelled like gasoline inside the car. Before I bought the car it sat for 2 years
