Building a LsV. Gsr Head, Ls Block, was thinking about b16 tranny but i know they can't hold much HP before the differential **** the bed. so im just gonna convert to hydro so i can use a gsr tranny. i dont know what kit to use and what to get to complete this correctly.

I have used all 3 kits listed here i can tell you that with out a doubt the Hush kit is the best.

The hasport kit is a joke and still uses a cable.

The sonem is a good piece for when it came out and it was the only option, i used it for about 2 years or so.
The sonem piece is not a bolt on like the hush kit, it does require welding the design is simple with little reinforcement when i used to press the clutch pedal my whole pedal assembly would flex. With the hush kit i have a solid pedal feel with no flex.

You can order the hush kit with just the bracket or you can get the complete change over package. Bisimoto is currently running the hush kit on his 700hp wago as our several others.

As Dredd said, the sonem-styled kit has flex. I'm running it in mine now but fabbed my own supports to make it solid, and I love it. Any of the Hasport styles are garbage, simply a way to use the hydro tranny the lazy way. With the sonem or hush kits, the only things you'll need in addition are the master cylinder, fluid reservoir, and a couple lengths of hard-line that you can pick up at vatozone.

Any difference in pedal feel between the braided line and factory hard lines?

i never had hard line but i can tell you theirs a difference in feel from -4 and -3 with -4 making it a little less stiff.

Mine is pretty stiff and I'm running a factory clutch/pp. But to be honest, I like it the way it is. The reason I can't stand driving stick in trucks/suv's. More or less just worried about losing that stiffness.
