All VTEC controllers are ****, get a chipped ECU and have it tuned on the dyno if you want the most performance out of your engine. 99% of the time, kids get a controller and lower or raise their VTEC crossover to a point where it actually makes less power - don't guess.

Unless you have a lot of mods there pointless because there is a reason honda set the vtec crossover at a certain rpm.

sorry to bring this back from thhe dead, but what if this controller was used to restore the factory vtec cross-over point? i currently am stuck with a chipped gsr p28 rite now on my d16z6 and the x-over is at 5900 rpm... gay! i just want it back around 4400rpm. will this do the trick?

depends on how the ECU was chipped - if the fuel and timing maps are set to increase fuel and timing at 5900, setting the cross-over to 4400 will mean you won't have the required fuel and ignition advance until it reaches 5900

just get an unchipped P28 ECU - by the way the P28 is not a GSR ECU - GSR is P72

I don't believe you are in any position to trade anyone anything without sending me my money.

Additionally, others should be careful dealing with you as well.
