Default Autozone Remanufactured Axles. Bad rebuilds=Vibrations?

Ok I did a search on Autozone Axles and came up with this thread.
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1190625
My question is why do so many people have problems with Auto Zone axles?

A friend of mine said he had Autozone axles and they vibrated really bad, but after he put alot of miles of highway driving on them the vibration went away. I've been driving my car since I swapped the motor for about 3,500 miles, and my car still has vibration under acceleration and deceleration. It stops vibrating on left turns and on right turns it shakes really bad. I'm guessing just one of the axles is bad.

When I lower the car to the point where the wheels are tucked into the wheel wells the vibration is constant and very harsh. If i raise the coilovers as high as i can it gets alot better.

Anybody else have these problems? Any further information about Autozone and their axles etc?

I am going to get an Autozone axle today. I've had the new axles (GCK brand) from Autozone on my R, and it's held up really well with no problems. On my Civic, I think I'm just going to try the cheaper reman axles. They're $60, as opposed to $100 for the new axle. I've heard bad things about the reman axles, also, but I'll give it a shot. I'll let you know how it goes.

Well I'm going to be replacing my wheel bearings soon so I might as well dig up my autozone receipt and replace the axles while im in their.

They usually have it stored in their system. I've never had to show them a receipt.

I don't launch at 9k, and the axles started vibrating on the first test drive when we finished the swap. I launch at 2.5k and feather the clutch, and rev match when I downshift. It's not my driving that affects the axles rather then the poor build quality.

It's not just Autozone in particular and they don't manufature their own axles. You can have that same prob. anywhere. I deal with Car Quest mostly through my shop for axles and had the same prob out of my LF axle. Just pull it out and take it back, they'll warranty it, problem solved.

One reason that people ruin axles besides poor quality product/installation is bad motor mounts that allow too much twisting and stretching of the axles which they're not meant to take on. By the way, if you go to autozone and the like to exchange axles under warranty they will likely give you a hard time if your vehicle is lowered.
