What is it stock? This car has been swapped to a d16y7, what computer does it use normally? I can find out a lot more later I can't look at the computer that's in it right now, but I'm just trying to figure out ahead of time if I may need a conversion harness for a phearable obd1 computer.

They're OBD0 stock. You're going to have to see what computer it's running the d16y7 on to determine what OBD it's running.

obd0 91 and before
obd1 92-95
0bd2 > 96
i'm guesssing it's still obd0 because it's just a y7. look at the distributor. obd0 will have white plugs and obd1 are grey. easier to get to.

In all technical fairness, obd1 was the first standardized OBD system ever.
Before that, due the lack of standardization, everything is pre-OBD.
Obd0 is just a slang term for the 88~91 fuel injection system.

All you need to do is look at the distributor. If the wiring plugs look stock and unmolested you are running a OBD0 ECU as the D16Y7 will run just fine with that ecu.
