Default 5 lug conversion from civic si and rear disc conversion

I'm wanting to upgrade my brakes and get rear discs and possibly bigger front brakes on my 91 Si. I was prowling the Youtubes and came across a video of the guy from Hot Version doing a review on a Spoon upgraded Si hatch. I think they did a 5 lug conv from the Civic type R with the same discs. I'm just wanting to see if anyone can vouch for this upgrade. Would love to do the 5 lug conv and have my Si sitting on some JDM white teg rims.

Here is the video i found

Well first, I don't think spoon calipers clear 15" wheels. Those are clearly 15s. And they actually show you the brake setup and it's clearly stock 4 lug. I don't know why they keep saying civic type r, who ever put the subtitles doesn't know, or if the video is made with them, they don't even know. Those are just stock EF9 SiR brakes. I believe they are the same size as a DA integra, front and rear. They bolt right up. I have them on my Rex now and had them on my hatch before. So just get some da front and rear brake setups. And get some better pads and maybe some brembo blanks and SS lines and you'll be golden

RTA? Am i going crazy or are you trying to say rear trailing arm? Also if you change 90-93 integra brakes you will also need the proportioning valve since integra's have rear disk brakes.

Brembo blank = oem replacement rotor from brembo.

noobs

you could go 5 lug conversion on efs ppl just dont like to modify so much or spend the extra cash to have it.

to have five lug you need to have either sir si or da knuckles up front and you have to bore out the center to fit the five lug hub and its bearing.

now to have bigger brakes it all depends on again your cash there are oem big brake kits that will let you have 11" (itr, prelude) rotors up front with either spoon calipers, gs legend calipers, itr or nsx calipers you just have to use the 23t (i think the number is right) braket for the caliper mill it down a couple of mm like 3 mm so there will be clearance and you just redrill the rotors and your set up front
