pic ? but i'm willing to bet that's not something you want to start cutting. have you removed ALL the sound deadening and other non-frame compromising things ?

The brace thing is bolted down so i dont need to cut it. im googling images and cannot find a civic with one in it. all the gutted pics i see dont have it, so i think its safe to assume?

hmm might not be what I was thinking can you bend it if you were to step on it ? I went and took a hammer and chisel(took a long time !) but can is fully rid of sound deadening and the foam in/at the bottom of the dash. I would think that high schools and colleges would have it because science dept.

this is my car's truck area I circled the bar im thinking of and got confused on.(aware it's a G3 teggy) have since removed seat belts

Your talking about the long grey plate that goes from bottom of front seat belt area across the floor. No leave it in. If you get hit on the side your car will crush like a pop can. It's like a frame rail.

There's another 7-8 lbs under rear bumper cover. I cut mine out between the mounting bolts and cut off the ends that extend. If you get rear ended, 90sum% of the time these cars are totalled anyway. Just watch your rear view at stop lights and leave a little extra room in front.

umm I dont even have a radio..

Yea im using dry ice also. it make the Tar job super super easy.

Not worried about getting hit by another car... Its a weekend warrior and its getting a Cage. Taking the Front and rear bumper supports off as well. Im about 220lbs so far.
I found about 6lbs in Coin. not even kidding. couple extra bucks paid for the dry ice lol

If you haven't already been to an event w/8 second honda drags, I advise you to do so. You said a cage is going in, so you can cut quite a bit of stamped steel out of the inside. Take a detailed look @ the inside of those cars w/cages and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I soaked mine in used motor oil for a day, soaked it up with kitty litter, vacuumed it out with a shop vac, then easily chiseled it away with a spackling tool. After that, soaked it in undiluted purple power, hit it with an abrasive kitchen sponge, more kitty litter, more vacuuming.
