r12 to r134a retrofit fittings hit the hood
I'm trying to retrofit my 1993 Del Sol Si and the damn fittings I bought stick up too high and hit the hood. They were the ones you can buy at autozone. Anyone have experience with a set that works? Do I need a 90 degree bend?

yes a 90 degree bend style would be better...
that or just simply give your a/c line a little push downwards... these lines get moved and a little bent sometimes when doing an engine replacement. So with you doing a small push downward to bent it justtt a little itty bit wouldn't hurt anything

Have people actually used these 90 degree fittings or are there people that find straight ones that fit? Anyone want to chime in with what fittings you used and where you got them from?
