Way too many options. You can swap, turbo or both. It depends on your budget and prefference. Its really up to you.

but i mean if u going to pay the money for a turbo d y not get the d built before u turbo it ?
imo, for gas mileage do a b16 u can pick up a full swap for 1500-2200....

No because your displacement and stroke is still that of a d15.
The mini-me set-up can be nice, most power gained from that is raised compression, vtec, and a better flowing head.
If you consider going b-series, don't get stuck on the b16. Go for it if you really want it, but do some research on what you really want to do before you get into something you won't like further down the road.

Depends on the milage. If theres a lot, you can alway buy the same motor for like $500 bucks and build a little and turbo. Cheap hp for a daily driver.

No, because the displacement and compression is different, but it's basically like bolting 20whp onto your motor.
Which may not seem like a lot since every ebay ad says their exhaust will give you 20-30hp+ but in all honesty, when you have 20whp bolted onto a B7 like that - you feel it.
Think of it as approx 130% of what you have now. It's a VERY good upgrade IMO for somebody who doesn't wanna drop a lot but wants a nice little bump in power.

Please don't think this noob is trying to be a jerk, but please explain how 20whp is approx 130% of the current hp?
Question on topic: I've beening reading about installing a A6 cam and y8 or adjustible cam gear on the D15b7 for a nice increase in hp/tq; any truth to this? I've read that they will pull harder, increasing the peak rpm from approx 5500 to 6200.

The D15B7 is reported to make around 102 horses at the crank. By doing a mini-me swap you can gain roughly 20-30 hp.
Quick math lesson: 30 (potential gains) / 102 (stock hp) = .29411 or 29.4%
Thats a gain of around 30%... so after the swap the engine will be running about 130% of what it used to.

Without that important information, it wasn't readily apparent how those numbers made sense.
btw: Thanks for the math lesson...I don't know much about cars but I teach HS math for a living

Percent change = (Final - Original) / Original * 100.
(130 - 102) / 102 * 100 = 27.5%.
