I did the latter with a JDM D15B, and this summer I intend to do the first.

Re: (BlackoutVTi)
its really all about your choice. if you just throw on a basic turbo kit with no eral major upgrades on your stock motor you're gonna be faster...but still limited. im not really into the whole "building a sohc" personally, but it is some peoples love. i would do the swap. im runnin ls/vtec which i just turbo'd....so thats my answer. swap a b series...turbo it later.

That's true. You really need to be sure of what you want to do with what you've got. I don't intend to be super fast, so I'm just planning on turboing the stock JDM D15B with the basic Greddy kit and a tune. All I want is a quick little grocery-getter. Before we go into any more half-assed suggestions, what do you want out of your car?
