I have a d15b with a p28 ecu also and I really can't seem to hear the vtec either could it be that I need to do something with the oil pressure switch like mentioned above because I have the oil pressure switch and the solenoid wired correctly I just don't know if I should be hearing vtec engage?? Pm me if you have any answers pls , thanks

Does your car rev all the way up to 68-7200 RPM's? If so then your VTEC is activating. Do you have any check engine lights? SOHC VTEC is very hard to hear/feel.

Re: VTEC not working!! (d15b/p28)
ok before i get my head bit off i know this is an old posting but with everyone getting off topic with their personal need not many questions were answered. the guy who put the head on the d15b block did he pull the oil jet between cylinders 2-3? if not vtec will not work. not sure why. common mistake this is missed. so if you tripple checked your wiring and everything external seems good time to remove the head. its just a little brass jet down in the block
