Default Trouble with car not igniting...

Car didn't start the other day and today me and my friend fucked around with the

distributor and also jumped the car with cables. Well after that my car started fine

(well a little sutter). Well prior to it starting car had gasoline fumes spewing like

crazy (white smoke), smelt like spilt gas all over. So I turned my car off after

awhile, like maybe 5 mins later. And tried turning it on afterwards and car made a

sutter sound like it trying to gain energy from the battery but it wouldn't turn

over. I could tell this by my alarm (beeping multiple times, then going off). So

my friend was thinking I need to charge my battery, which I'm going to do tomm.,

I also know I need a new battery. But getting all the detailed information out the

way would you guys know whats wrong with it just from what I've just wrote about.

P.S. Starter is clicking, well what my friend told me. But since my battery dieing

like that or loosing power so easily could it be a sign of a bad alternator.

THANKS IN ADVANCE.

WHTE SMOKE COMING FROM MUFFLER NOT ENGINE BAY!!

White smoke is coolant buddy, not gas. Change the battery if it is dead, but that smoke won't stop.

I'm charging my battery as we speak. But I'm taking it to the mechanic tomm. to

get a new battery because I really need a new one and also get a diagnostic test

to see what's the deal. We I get it back with the results from the test I will post

them if that's ok with you guys. Thanks for helping.

Hey another question is regarding the white smoke. If it's coolant or whatever

(explain plz)... how does it get out. Does that mean my engine is flooded. OR

WHAT.

Hey guys getting the white smoke or coolant problem out of my engine or exhaust,

would I have to drain my raidator and fill it back up again.

Car started fine, with battery all charged up. I need a new battery though. I think

the problem at hand wasnt the battery at 1st was giving enough usage to get the

STARTER pumping alive. So NOW my problem is the white smoke.

ALEX... THANKS HT FOR YALL'S HELP... JUST NEED WHITE SMOKE ? ANSWERED

white smoke = coolant...coolant gets into your engine by a blown headgasket...

R you sure it's a blown headgasket, because I don't want it to be just a mistake

because once I take my valve cover off the gasket will break. Also, do you know

where I could pick one up (AUTOZONE?). And when taking off my valve cover

would there be any problems with putting it back on like VTEC getting screwed

with or any other problems.
