Default Shifter problem

I recently just did a b16a swap and a auto to manual conversion on my car.

Got a s4c b18 tranny and the shifter is "loose." Like I can move it side to side in any gear, and when I am in neutral, I can move it to the sides and such and it will stay there. Won't even pop back to the middle. Can anyone please explain this?

Install new shifter bushings and make sure that the linkage is properly installed at both the tranny and to the underside of the car. When i bought my EK the shifter was extremely loose so i installed new poly bushings and a short throw shifter at the same time. Made a world of difference.
