Default No spark No Injector Pulse - B16A2

Hi guys,

New to the Honda world looking for some help (Im a noob on this forum BUT I promise to share a build thread if I can ever get this car started).

The car is a EJ civic OB2A harness with a B16A2 swap (swap done prior to my ownership). The condition is no spark no injector pulse, The fuel pump primes on ignition and fuel is making its way to the rail, The green Immo key light goes off on the dash so Im assuming this is not an immo problem plus that car did run previously. My initial thoughts were faulty CYP CKP TDC sensors in the distributor so measured resistance on all 3 and they are within spec 350-700 ohms. I tested the harness with a multimeter and there is voltage being supplied to the sensors (very low voltage less than 1v) but its my understanding that this is normal. Is there anything else that would prevent the ECU from pulsing injectors and sending spark?

P.S The car is running a H-Tune P28 ECU with a jumper harness and like I mentioned it was running previously.

Where are you located and what market did your Civic originate from ? I ask because a USDM '98 Civic did not come with an immobilizer. Did the car ever run while you have owned it ? If so, what has changed immediately prior to the no start problem ?

Hi thanks for the reply. I'm based in the UK the car is a UKDM model. To answer your question the car did run in my ownership, I pulled the HT leads and spark plugs to run a compression test and upon reinstalling the plugs and leads the "no spark no injector pulse" problem started. I have checked to make sure all the wires are firmly on at the distributor side (even though i did not remove these). I have also checked that none of the grounds around that area were disturbed (rocker cover ground, thermostat housing ground).
