Need help wiring Alternater. OBD1 harness-OBD2 alternator.
Okay, well i havent been able to get my hands on a obd1 alternator So i wanted to see if i can rewire my obd1 harness to fit the obd2 alternator. I have the plug for the alternator that came with the original engine harness. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wiring? There won't be any.
You can take the alternator housing apart and simply swap out the voltage regulator where the engine harness plugs into the alternator.
You can take the OBD2 alternator apart and swap in an OBD1 plug/regulator into it - most times even the OBD1 SOHC alternator voltage regulator fits right into the OBD2 alternator!!!

I used to have pictures on exactly how to do this because I swapped in a D16Z6 OBD1 voltage regulator into a B16A2 OBD2 alternator to allow me to use the newer B series alternator in my wife's 1992 Si HB with her original OBD1 engine harness.
...but I can't find the pics.
You'll need an 8mm socket, a 12/14mm to loosen the post for the power wire, and a phillips head screw driver. It's actually very simple, especially if you are already doing the engine swap yourself.

if you are gonna solder the connections, then go ahead. if you gonna use some connectors then, NO. reason is you dont want that ish to come loose when your car is on

What are you talking about?
The procedure I'm talking about requires no wiring changes and/or cutting soldering of any kind. It is a purely mechanical procedure of removing the shields and swapping the voltage regulator from an OBD1 alternator into the OBD2 alternator. The plug where the engine harness plugsa in is built directly into the voltage regulator, so you swap the regulator, you swap the plug with zero wiring of any kind.
