Hello. I just did a b16a2 swap into my 96 Civic Ex. I finally go to start my car but it only cranks. I have spark but i have no fuel. When i turn my key i do hear my fuel pump prime/ turn on. Any Suggestions? Fuel filter? pump? Main relay? Thanks!!

If the pump is priming then the fuel pump relay is good and you're obviously getting power to it. So I'd start small and do the fuel filter. It COULD still be the fuel pump if it is clogged, but it could also be your injectors. Have you taken one out and tried to see if it would spray?

Isnt there two parts to the relay? One that starts the pump and another that keeps it going? Im not sure. Is there a way to unclog the fuel pump if that is the case? My car has been inactive for over 6 months so that may be the problem.

If its been sitting 6 months w/o being started, and if there wasnt fuel stabilizer in the tank, the fuel could have turned to gel and clogged somethings. Try adding fresh fuel to the tank if this is the case, and rock the car, and repeat.

Is there any liquid i can put into my gas tank to flush out the possible dirt and sediments?

Well, if you want it reallllly clean, remove the gas tank, flush it many times with water, and some limeaway (i hear it works great with calcium rust build up) flush some more with water, let it dry overnight and maybe the next day depending on the weather condition (humid etc) then reinstall and pour fresh gas in.

Is taking out my gas tank the only route? or is there an easier route such as trying to put in some fuel stabilizer? or is it too late for that to be effective? Thanks

Well, how much gas is in your tank now? if theres a decent amount in there, try shaking the car, if you cant hear any swishing noises, then its probablly to late to add it

I put in a fresh gallon like 2 days ago.. When i blew my engine and parked my car in the garage... there was barely any gas in my car. My gas light was actually on. Basically i have only 1 fresh gallon of gas.

Hmm, well, i would try adding more fuel, maybe put in 4 gallons or so, cause it could be really low yet, and the pump might be not priming, also pull your injectors out and see if they spray, replace fuel filter as well, and if you get fuel through the injectors, something else is wrong.
