Fuel Pump.
we got a problem with an 90 integra. it will not start. we have replace batter, starter, plugs, wires, all the basic stuff. yesterday i was helping my friend, and we started to trouble shoot the fuel system the best we could. when we disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel filter and tried to crank the car, no fuel came out. we replaced the fuel relay as well. i am thinking it is the fuel pump. my only other concern is there an alarm on the car and maybe that is cutting power to the fuel pump.
any thoughts are suggestions?
thanks

replaced fuel pump, pick up screen and fuel filter today. still no go.
i wired the old fuel pump up to the batter directly and it started pumping.
i need to double check the person i got the car from and see if he replaced the relay.
what are the odds of a block line some where?
any suggestions?
thanks.

ok so tonight, i tested the spark plugs out. removed the plug from engine, pluged into wire and tried to start. expecting to see a spark across the gap. i did not see a spark across the gap. so i now assume that is has something to do with no spark.
arg.

well i have discovered that the CEL stays on for more than 2 seconds when first turning the car on. i believe the ecu code is a PR4. tomorrow i will look at how to test it.
it does appear that the ecu is not the orginal, or has been removed modified before.
