there are only 2 logical choices:
1. turbo the D, cheap and lots of fun, i have a turbo d16 and love it!
2. J series swap, if money isn't an issue, and you're already looking at going through the hassle of a K swap

J's are cool, saw one on a dyno this weekend... But you either have 0 ground clearence, or you have the top of the motor sicking out of your hood.

I wouldnt recommend a a j swap for any dd, as you either cut a hole in the hood and advertise it to theifts or risk hitting something and cracking the oil pan

I dont know but I think 4 cylinders seems more correct in my eye on a civic. Definitely k series.

Call the shop yourself and ask for a copy of the dyno chart.
it's close at 192WHP
del sol with b16a
