I have a 93 civic EX...5-speed

This morning I went to start my car and I can could hear the starter engage, but it would not even try to spin.... I turned the ignition back to off, and then tried again. I didn't think much of it...

Then it happened again this afternoon. This time I needed to put the ignition back to off 2 or 3 times before it would start, each time I could hear the starter engaging but it would not spin. After it warmed up, it seemed to start with no issues...

My instinct is that my starter is going out....but I just wanted to double check that I didn't have something else wrong. I attempted to start it WITHOUT pushing the clutch in but it would not even engage...so it seems my clutch switch is working OK. I don't have any CEL, and I can hear the fuel pump turn on when I turn the key to the first position…Not that this matters being it is not even trying to turn over....so is there anything that might keep the starter from firing??

Or do I need to head to the parts store for a new starter????
