Default Mini-Me Compression

Ok I used a compression calculator to find out what the compression of my engine (d16y7/y8 mini me) was. It said it was somewhere around 13.9:1 to 14.5:1. (Im not sure what headgasket is on there, y8 or y8 two layer, the y8 being 13.9:1). Is that estimate correct?

shouldn't be more then 11:1 with y8 head i think.

The Y7 pistons actually have a greater dish than the Y8 pistons, so a Y7/Y8 mini me has a lower compression ratio than a stock Y8 (stock Y8 is 9.6:1)

I would guess in the 9.2-9.3 range (same as D16Z6)

y7/y8 compression is 9.9:1

i used this:
http://www.knology.net/~jediklc/D.htm

and everything i've punched in it so far has been 100% correct so i trust its mini-me calculation

I don't think thats correct. Notice how there is no value for the Y7 piston...

A standard Y8 is 9.8:1, so a Y7/Y8 mini me (basically a Y8 with Y7 pistons) would have lower compression because the Y7 pistons have a larger dish.

Just to ball-park it, what's the compression ratio for just the Y7 engine.
Since Y8 head has smaller combustion chambers, mini-me should have a higher compression

There fore, Mini-me should be between Y7 and Y8, right?

Y7 < minime < Y8

i thought a stock y7 was 9.4 and a y8 was 9.6

the piston-dome displacement value is over in the table.

it seemed to pump out all correct values when i was using it
