Can I just throw this out there real quick? Why can't people spell solenoid? I've seen that word more brutally misspelled on this website than any other. Seriously people, just ******* sound it out - SOL-uh-noid. I can understand maybe using an i for the "e", but how do people put a ******* "i" at the beginning?

OP - perhaps your ECU is burned out at the VTEC spot? Have you tried a friend's ECU?

LOL @ pet-peeve rants.

silinoid
solanode
selonoid
solinoed
=/=
solenoid

That, and the spelling of manual, being manuel, but I digress...

x2 on just trying an ECU that you know for sure is functioning properly, or you'll be on a wild goose chase for a while.

measure the resistance of the solenoid with a meter also. the ecu looks for 14-25 ohms according to honda.

Just stopped in to see how things are going with your H22, and found someone I need to report!

Reported for useless bashing, provocation of off-topic discussion, and absolutely no helpful information.

So, the other ECU worked out for you? Good job, I'm happy things are looking up finally.
