Heres how to reset your srs light. Sometimes you dont need a new module or anything, it just needs to be reset. Done it on my sol tonight. Ill include a pic of the paper as well (you may want to save it and zoom to read). But with ign on (car off) short the srs connector with a clip till the light goes out, then remove clip. Light will come back on, short it again at the srs connector until it goes out then remove it. It will blink twice fast to let you know the codes have been erased and its been reset. Then youre done.

Thanks for the info my SRS light has been for a while and I hate looking at it. Now the clip your talking is what type?

Its that yellow connector right there to the right of the fuses in the last pic. It looks like its plugging into something but its juts plugging into a plastic dummy plug. Just so its not dangling out there. You short it with a paper clip or something like you would the service connector to do check engine lights

what can i do if the light doesnt go off after i have reset it? my car has been in a front end accdient, i checked the pulg under the seat. can i get any codes from the srs?
