weird windshield wiper issue...help?

weird windshield wiper issue...help?

Key in and turned to the run position the wipers dont shut off with the switch off, on low, or high. I pull the fuse out and obviously they stop. No matter what speed the wiper switch is on they still move the same speed. Should I be looking for a new wiper switch assembly?

i think its the switch cuz i got similar problem on my 98 ex
the wipers get halfway i hear the switch click and they stop then it clicks again and they go back down instead of doing that in one motion
but thats only on the first setting the second one is fine
