Default high idle lacking power oil out of exhaust ports

I have a 94 boosted b16 hatch. I let it sit for a while went to drive it one day and it sounded like it had a misfire and was lacking power, also had oil coming out of exhaust port. It has 89k on the motor. I replaced plugs cap wires rotor distributor fuel filter adjusted the valves. And now out of nowhere it gained a high idle. No ticking or knocking. Also found pieces of metal in oil pan. Help please

Sounds like cracked piston ringlands. Do a compression test

i blew a turbo in my saab and when it went, it sucked my engine dry. it could be a bad turbo but sounds like rings are the culprit. check for play on the turbo and as the other poster stated do a compression test

You said that you adjusted the valves, are you sure you did it to the correct clearance properly?

Yeah they're adjusted right. It was doing it before I adjusted the valves though. And compression read strong across the board

Compression was good across all 4? Are you sure the oil is coming from the exhaust ports and not the turbo?
