as long as its sohc and not dohc it should be the same
sohc pump on a bseries will make your engine act a bit funky

So if you're doing a b-series swap are you suppose to use the b-series fuel pump then??
Thanks for the reply

Not necessary. i have a 92' civic hatch sohc and a 00 civic si dohc. i swapped both fuel pump just to experiment if both fuel pump are compatible with each other. And found out that they were, with no issues at all.

Where did you get this info? I'm confused how it would do that even with a higher LPH rating because the fuel pressure regulator would just end up sending more fuel down the return line...

well yeah when you swap in a bseries your supposed to use the bseries fuel pump.
i have a gsr and using a sohc pump and in first it sometimes bogs really hard, through turns too when i take sharp turns and get back on the throttle it seems like the pump isnt sending enough fuel

bad info, sorry

92-00 civics OEM fuel pumps support any swap, whetehr it be another D series, B series, H, F, or K, even J swaps can use the stock pump

just doublecheck to make sure the pump is healthy

any fuel pump will bog on hard turns if you are using the stock fuel tank. there isnt a good enough baffle for sporty driving.

thats the TANK causing it to lose gas, not the pump

simple solution is to simply have half a tank or more at all times. hopefully you are not driving like that on the streets, because that is a very stupid thing to do

It is stupid to get lower than 3/8 to 1/4... The reason being your Stock fuel pump is cooled by the gas. It relies on it to keep cool and when you get low in your tank then you un-submerge the pump which causes it to heat up. The more times your fuel pump goes through this cycle the more likely it is to fail. Also any build up in your tank is now being suspended lower in it so your pump is more likely to suck it into the sock. Fuel pumps are pretty fragile pieces of equipment and it does not take a whole lo to make something go wrong with them.

I meant to say that of driving around corners hard enough to starve the pump. I was just saying, hopefully that type of driving isnt being done on the streets

x2. fuel pump life can be lengthened quite a bit with proper care. though when you add fuel cleaner, it is a good idea to run it to almost E. Otherwise, definitely keep it at half tank or more. the more fuel in there, the less chance of moisture in there as well. all gas tanks have a venting system, and if the level of gas is too low, it is getting lots of air into there that can cause corrosion.
