Fuel pump
not the same.. but it will work with a B-Series engine. I think it actually runs at a higher pressure than the B-Series.. The worst that can happen is you will run a little bit rich.
is that good, will it hold up to the pressure a stock b-series will, reason im asking is i am currently running one on a turbo set up on a LS motor it has low fuel pressure cause i am running a hondata and rc 500 injectors. I know the B- series pump will hold up but i was just wondering if the SOHC SI pump would. Anyone else
SOHC pump flows less than B series. It is was installed to support 120hp motors.
The b-serries (vtec) will be from 160-200hps.
If you floor it at high rpms, SOHC pump will not be able to sustain the fuel presure and run lean.
If you just putt putt around town it should be fine.
