Default EG Fuse Box (Option Connectors) Help needed

1994 Eg Hatch

On the under-dash fuse box there are 5 "Option Connectors" I believe 3 are 12 volt and 2 are switched.

For the ones that are 12 volt is there a fuse for these?

I was getting power from one of them and now it is dead (I might have ground it out )......But I can't find any blown fuses and can't find anything in the shop manual.

SO, any thought on were I should check for a blown fuse???

Thank,
Matt

This is from a while ago when I was trying to help someone out with wiring up fogs.
Hope it tells you what you need to know.

From left to right on the fuse box the option connectors and labeled A,B,C,D,E
A-Hot at all times
B-Hot at all times
C-Hot in RUN
D-Hot with light switch in HEAD or PARK
E-Hot in ACC or RUN

The option connectors also have fuse protection, check and make sure these fuses are still good.

A- Fuse 36 - (Not sure)
B- Fuse 17 - 10A
C- Fuse 16 - 7.5A
D- Fuse 19 - 10A
E- Fuse 23 - 15A

Just so you have an actual visual reference...

Very Cool! Thank you.....

Any idea where fuse 36 is? "A- Fuse 36 - (Not sure)"

I know I don't have any fuses in position 16 or 17, I will have to check #19 and #23 is working fine!

I'm thinking it's maybe in the under-hood fuse box but don't hold me to that. Maybe someone else could chime in on that?

Just so you have it for reference, here's a list of the fuse sizes and what they control in the under-dash fuse box

Fuse 36 is a 50A hood fuse. You can find printable fuse box diagrams in the FAQs sticky.
