EG Daytime Running Lights Problems?
I had a situation recently that my autometer water temp was connected into my drl and when i tried to disable the lights by removing the fuse the gauge would stop working also. So i instead took out the drl box in the engine compartment located near the drivers side clutch canister. Would that disable the drl also instead of pulling the fuse?

You said you removed it right?
So are they on or off?
That should answer your question...
But removing the box should certainly disable them as it contains the power from the fuse box and the neccisary relays/resistors to turn them on with acc. power.

Since i took out the drl box, if that works its much easier leaving it wired it up that way and just removing the box since it just plugs it and is held on by a 10mm bolt.

But then again it may also be the only power source to the headlights... So it may dis-able your headlights... Frankly I'm not sure. I'll check my helms when I get a chance.
