distributor install help
So dizzy crapped out on me and now Im attempting to install my new one, thing is the camshaft moved so its now like (/) instead of (|) so the holes dont line up on the distributor correctly. whats the easiest way to adjust the camshaft to get it to line up correctly?
any help is appreciated.

adjustable holes barely line up to screw the 3 bolts back in...i can get the dizzy to more right but that doesnt help, needs very little to the left.

huh? The fins on the distributor turn 360. I still dont see why you cant turn the fin to / and put it in with the holes lined up. If you cant spin the fins 360 then somethings wrong with that dist. from the start.

because with the camshaft like this / it is making the dist. fit too far the right right...need to shift it left by adjusting the camshaft to |

lol.... i dont see how your thinking this is that hard. You set your dist. like this / put it in then move the dist. to line up the holes. The dist. will move because the cam is holding the fins.
