Code 41 on a 1994 Civic CX
I've got a 1994 Civic CX hatchback, and I'm getting a code 41 CEL, which to my understanding is the Oxygen Sensor Heater. However, CX's have the 1 wire o2 sensor, which is not heated. I replaced the oxygen sensor with a Denso one yesterday, and I'm still getting code 41. What else could it be?

Nope, I've got a D15B8 8 valve. The ECU was never replaced, I've got maintenence records from the previous owner goign back 6-7 years.

Just went out and checked. I've definitely got a P05... I dont know what the problem could be. A short in a wire somewhere?

When I short the 2 wires to check the code, the SRS light starts flashing as well.What does that mean? I searched and couldn't find anything on that.
A bad ECU might make sense. I've had this stupid undiagnosable misfire at idle even after pretty much everything has been replaced, and now this code 41 thing.

Jumping the service connector retrieves not only CEL codes but also SRS (air bag) codes, which blink from the SRS light. You have a fault in your SRS circuit.

A P05 is an OBD1 CX ECU so it should throw the same codes as any other OBD1 ecu..
Is it the stock ECU..?? How long have you had the code for..??

The P05 ECU looks for a one wire O2 sensor that lacks a heater element. Therefore, it would not throw code 41 for a faulty heater element.

Yep, its the stock ECU. I've had the code for as long as I've owned the car (month and a half) and the guy before me had it at least since last february.
